Day 108 of chaos, violence, mayhem, shooting etc or day 231 – Thursday 27th

Pressure continuing to build , Foot Patrol crew repaired 20 breaks in boundary stonewall and also managed to impound 75 head of Pokot cattle near the Karuwao boundary and then 160 head of Samburu small stock and 15 head of Samburu cattle on the Karai section.

The Samburu with the stock- mostly women and children were throwing rocks and sticks at the Foot Patrol crew and the Police came to assist.

Some of our cattle struggling now and have to be helped up each day and being kept in the back yard close to feed and water.
Foot patrol crew also came across a buffalo carcass which had been shot….we had heard the shots a few weeks ago and hadn’t been able to that access that area.
