Mugie conservancy update 02/08/2017After meeting with the Elders, Chiefs and community members of the grazing committee, the rounds were done, with the herders who had not left and were hanging around our boundary, we constructed one on one dialog with them, and pressure from the elders and grazing Committe.
Two herds were arrested today with a Mugie Conservancy grazing fee charged to the owners.
As of 21.00 pm herds have been sighted Illegal night grazing, there relentless attitude for grass, can be seen, mobile Bomas are been constructed to the boundary hard hit, with plans in place to hold the culprits.
Over all some herds have left, and the herders were open to talking and negotiating.
