We are truly blessed to have Dr Butt as our Doctor. The stories of how he has used his skills are many. The worst thing for Laikipia is that one day he will have to retire. In the meantime we should be immensely grateful that he is ‘ our doctor’ .
If ever I am tossed by a buffalo or trampled or tusked by an elephant or bitten by a leopard or lion or a venomous snake or shot by a Laikipia bandit there is only one doctor I want to be taken to. And that is Dr Butt in Nanyuki.
Forget Nairobi or anywhere else in the world!
